PAYMENT
We must receive full, cleared payment for an order before we despatch the goods. You can pay using any major credit or debit card. The transaction will show on your credit card statement as Clansman Gift Co. All transactions are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We will never ask you to confirm any account or credit card details via email. If you receive an email claiming to be from lochnessgifts.com asking you to do so please ignore it and do not respond.
Security checks will be made with the card issuing Bank prior to despatch of goods and we reserve the right to refuse any order

PRICES
The price you pay is the price on our website at the time we receive your order. All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (where applicable) at the appropriate current rates but exclude delivery charges.

PRIVACY POLICY
As a customer you are important to us, which is why our website has the very latest security features to protect you against credit card fraud. We also promise to respect your privacy. We will never give or sell our mailing list to any third party including any website linked to our own and will use it for our own marketing purposes only. You can opt out of our mailing list at any time by emailing us at info@lochnessgifts.com. All your personal details are held securely and in the strictest confidence. We are a registered data user under the Data Protection Act 1998.

CANCELLING AN ORDER
You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. To cancel you must inform us in writing by email, letter or fax and return the goods to us immediately in the same condition you received them and AT YOUR OWN RISK AND COST. You will receive a full refund to your credit/debit card of the price paid when we receive the goods less the delivery costs. Where goods are delivered to a Third Party, you will only be able to cancel the order if you can return the goods you ordered to us. In the interests of hygiene we are unable to offer a refund on earrings for pierced ears unless damaged/faulty.

DAMAGED/FAULTY GOODS
In the unlikely event your goods are received damaged or faulty, please inform us in writing by email, letter or fax within 24 hours and we will arrange for the damaged item(s) to be collected and replaced at our expense.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
If for any reason an item is not available on receipt of your order we will contact you to discuss an alternative.

CONSUMABLE GOODS
No consumable goods ie biscuits, sweets, jams etc can be sent outside the UK.

DELIVERY
We cannot accept any liability for delayed delivery caused by any third party. Orders maybe delivered in one or more deliveries. A signature may be required on delivery. All UK orders will be sent by Royal Mail First Class post and all non-UK orders will be sent by Royal Mail Airmail.

When ordering goods from us for delivery outside of the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. We have no control over these charges and they must be borne by you. We would also like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

The contract to purchase shall be concluded in English. Scottish Law will govern the contract between us.
